People pleaser test
Ten questions about the exact moment a no turns into a yes. Everyone has one. The useful part is knowing where yours is.
A mirror, not a measurement. Ten honest questions, no account, nothing saved.
WHAT YOU LEAN TOWARD
You lean keeper-of-the-peace
The yes arrives before you do. Somebody asks, and you have agreed before the part of you that did not want to has finished forming a sentence. Then you spend the following week carrying something you never chose.
This is rarely about weakness and almost always about arithmetic. Somewhere you learned that being agreeable is what keeps people close, and that a no costs more than the thing being asked for. The maths made sense once. It stopped making sense a while ago.
The part worth finding is the specific moment the yes gets said, and what you were afraid of in that half second. It is a very short moment and almost nobody has looked at it directly.
